WELCOME TO ROCK RIDGE CREW
Rock Ridge Crew is the student rowing team of Rock Ridge High School in Loudoun County, Virginia. Established in 2014, our program welcomes experienced rowers, novice athletes, parents, and sponsors to be part of a growing tradition of excellence both on and off the water.
The team is proudly supported by Rock Ridge Rowing, Inc., a parent-led booster organization and registered non-for-profit [501(c)(3)] dedicated to sustaining and growing rowing opportunities for Rock Ridge students.
🚣 2026 Summer Rowing Camps
Join Rock Ridge Crew this summer at the Beaverdam Boathouse for an unforgettable week on the water!
Whether you are completely new to rowing or already have experience and want to improve your skills, our summer programs are a great opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun on the water.
Our camps are open to middle and high school students in the area and are led by Rock Ridge Rowing coaches and experienced athletes.
Learn to Row Camp
Perfect for beginners with little or no rowing experience. This camp introduces the essentials of rowing in a fun, supportive environment. Athletes will learn technique, safety, equipment basics, and teamwork—starting with land-based instruction before progressing onto the water later in the week.

Learn to Scull Camp
Designed for experienced rowers interested in learning or improving sculling technique. This small-group camp focuses on sculling skills, technique refinement, and building confidence in small boats. Open to experienced rowers who have completed at least one fall or spring sweep season.

⏰ Two Sessions: 8–10 AM or 10 AM–12 PM

Donations make up the difference between the dues and expenses for spring season. For 2026, we have a fundraising goal of $12,000 to cover costs such as, but not limited to: boat and equipment maintenance, insurance, boathouse, software and accounting to name a few. Fundraising donations go to the General Fund and are tax deductible as Rock Ridge Rowing, Inc and has IRS 501c3 charitable status.
